Thats what I am trying to figure out as well. Except if you filed with relative in US why was your approval notice sent to NVC. It usually is stored until a visa number is available. My question is during that time do I have to do anything or just await further instructions from USCIS as to what I need to do..

I am in 3rd preference cat married son/daughter of a US citizen. Got an approval notice which state I am not eligible to file AOS at this time. Is there any other documentation I have to submit in the mean time while I am waiting further instructions. It also stated that my docs will be in storage until a number is available to me.....Help anyone who has been through this process. Thanks so much.
