Hello everyone,

I was just reading the wiki on NVC electronic processing and from what I understood this is only for Guangzhou, Chile and Montreal is that right or is this available to evreyone???

No, not for everyone - Sorry !!!! You can always view the available countries at http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4411.html - who knows? your country might 'pop up' sometime - Difficult to know, unless a new bulletin comes out.

But - if you use the online payment portal, and start getting the DS-230 'original documents' after NOA-2 date,

you can get some speed on paper processing if you follow this:

What you read is correct. It's only available to people of those cities. It's still a pilot program and will probably take multiple years before it's available to everyone sans borders.

Hey - no worries.

IMO - NVC Electronic Processing is a GodSend - for Guangzhou-homed petitions, shaves of 2 to 6 months of wait time, between 'NVC-Out' to 'Consulate Open CaseFile' timeticks.

Paper filers with casefiles off to Guangzhou - their casefiles WAIT in a warehouse after arriving in China, taken out on some FIFO inventory rule, to the GUZ IV unit . This waiting time SUCKS, tremendously.
