looking in the timeline section i see that Vermont Service Center is takes 3 months from noa1 to noa2

California Service Center is taking less then 2

this sucks

people with noa1 dates around 2010-03-12 already getting noa2's in California Service Center

while Vermont Service Center is still on 2010-02-01

i think so..coz we applied last march 2010 for the second time but until no we never heard any feedback about it, even they suggested us to make a covered letter to expedite it coz, that was their negligence for the first time we applied coz they misplaced it..hope i can hear any positive feedback with this...godbless and i need to wait patiently..i guess..

March 13,2012 = I-129F Mailed to Dallas,texas

March 15,2012 = received email from USCIS,that they got the packet

March 20,2012 = received email from USCIS for our NOA1,and they routed to VSC

June 28, 2012 = touch

October 03,2012 = F received RFE via text

I received my NOA1 on 5/11/10, however I am seeing people who have filed after me receive their NOA2 by now. I haven't received a RFE so why are others getting a NOA2 before me if I filed before them?

Congrats to those who did, but its a little frustrating because I feel like I've been forgotten about

dont worry you are still under 2 months... few lucky people always get thru... but its going alot faster now.. you can set it up for them to text you when its ready... or just check daily..

I went through a K1 lawyer and they submitted my petition to the Vermont Center on June 22. I looked at the links on this site to processing times and VT says 5 months. Lawyer quoted me about 1 month to get a reply, 2.5 months for approval (?). Does this sound right?

I sent a money order. Maybe I cannot track my service center number? Anyways, thank you for the clarification! This website is very helpful.

Just so everyone knows, on the website for USCIS, all I-129F forms submitted to vermont after May 15th were sent to the Texas processing center... There are numerous people who are getting NOA2 in less than one month since there was no backlog at this center.... unfortunately, the packets recv prior to May 15th are staying in vermont....

Hello!...I started a thread under 129 F forum about how Vermont is now on fire...we were approved in 23 days (among others).

I later found out (via posters) that folks who applied after may 15th got their packs forwarded to Texas (no backlogs) so they got processed quick...but things are soon to go back to "normal" late July, someone wrote

Hello every one.

First time to post here. VSC seems to be having a problem with my I-129F petition, it was delivered on June 21, 2010 and still no NOA1 and my check has not cleared my bank as of July 17,2010. I have tried to contact someone at VCS but can not get a good contact and of course no information. Since no receipt number I can not check status and the national center for customer service will not do anything till after 30 days since it was delivered to VSC. I had a friend that sent in I-129F petition to VSC delivered May 4, 2010, NOA1 dated May 4, 2010 and his check cleared his bank May 6, 2010, NOA2 dated June 23, 2010(approved). I was expecting a similar time line since these two were only 7 weeks apart for delivery dates. Does any one have any ideas why mine is so slow or what I can do to get it started processing? Thanks for any help or information anyone can provide.

Frustrated!!!!!!

I-129F mailed to VSC June 18,2010.

I-129F delivered to VSC June 21,2010.

Waiting, waiting for NOA1.

July 12, 2010 VSC states petition was rejected (no reason given) and was being returned however they did give me the case #.

Waiting, waiting, did not get returned petition instead got hard copy of NOA1 in mail on July 26, 2010 with

different case # (very strange!!!) I have not seen anything like this on VJ.

NOA1 dated July 20, 2010 (way too long) 29 days since delivered.

Check cleared July 22, 2010.

Received NOA1 hard copy July 26, 2010.

"Touch" July 27, 2010.

"Touch" Oct. 3, 2010 Yeah!!!!, at least something.

YEEPEE!!!! Finally NOA2. Dec 30,2010 got cell text at 4:04pm, and email notice at 6:00pm that our petition has been approved.

Now for the rest of the process, should not be so long now!!!!!!

This long wait has been very stressful for both of us, now we can make more plans for the rest of our lives together.

NVC got our case on Jan 4, 2011 and was sent to the Embassy on Jan 6, 2011. Thank you Lord!!!

We now have our MNL case number!!!!
