My mom received her visa in 4 business days (Saturday and Sunday not included) since the interview. She was interviewed on the 15th of July, and she received it 4 working days after, July 21. It also helps that I hounded Air21 with emails and they even referred my emails to the branch in the US embassy. Anything to speed things up for my mom. You can track the visa online, just go to AIR21.com and enter your tracking number on the space provided and hit the TRACK button.

You can also receive text messages for the update, just text AIR21TRACK space(tracking number) and send to 2948.

Hope this helps. Mom is coming next week! Got her ticket from Mango Tours, a little bit pricey due to the limited time but for those who wish to have a cheaper PAL ticket, just call or visit mango tours and if you hurry, you can get a PAL ticket from August 20 onwards one-way first time immigrant discount for only $675! I got mine for more than a thousand. Oh well!

wow Congrats Treyu! thats good news!

I still have to wait 2 more weeks for my mom's result.

No calls from St. Luke's yet and some people here said that St. Luke's usually call after a month if its positive and its been 6 weeks now for my mom. :)

Please post here when you get your mom's new appointment date, I'm curious to how soon they can give interview dates for those that have to undergo the sputum test.

I badly need my mom here now, her granddaughter is growing up fast.

That's good to hear only 2 weeks waiting for your mom's result. If no call from St. Luke's that mean you mom's gonna be okay. My 2 kids will going in St. Luke's on Tuesday for their medical also. I hope no more sputum na gagawin pa sa anak kung babae. Pinagawa ako before ng St. Luke's ng refusal letter kasi ayaw ko magstay ng Manila ang dalaga kong anak at wala din matutuluyan dahil we are from Olongapo City. Nauna muna ako umalis naexpired and medical ng bunso ko lalake kaya now my husband nagfiled sya ng I-130 sa 2 kung anak. Sa Olongapo City na naggamut ang anak noon, kaya now meron sila bago appointment letter for interview and medical. I hope na hindi na magsputum ang anak kung babae. Kasi sabi sa akin nung nagoverseas call ako sabi sa akin meron na daw history anak ko sa lungs pero Bronchitis naman nakita hindi naman TB. Wish ko lang na mag Ok ang Tubercullin test nila magkapatid at hindi na sya x-ray pa at makauwi sa pinas for their interview. GOOD LUCK sa result sa inyong mother. Pray hard !!!!

Okay, you guys are not alone. I just called my mom, and she told me that she has to go back at St. Luke's E.C. on August 3-5 for the 3-day sputum test since they found out something on her X-ray result. The thing is; she isn't the only one who needs to go back and do the test. There were quite number of people who went for medical exam that day has to go back for the sputum test, too. Oh, that means her interview on the 6th will be rescheduled on...that I don't know! :whistle:

July 26, 2010 -------Vaccinations Done 3 for DAD , 4 for MoM

My mom's 3-day sputum tests are over, but she was asked to go back on Monday for PFTs (Pulmonary Functioning Tests). Did your parents (mom/dad) went back to St. Luke’s to do PFTs also after they were done with their sputum tests?

My bad! It wasn't PFT, but it was Pulmonary Evaluation. I bet it must be something about her sputum smear result.
