Aeromexico cuts Arizona flights in light of new law

Mexican carrier Aeromexico is reducing flights to Arizona, a move that comes after that state passed a strict immigration enforcement law.

The Arizona Daily Star of Tucson writes Aeromexico "will cancel flights to Phoenix, claiming demand is down because of Arizona's new immigration law."

The Guadalajara Reporter of Mexico adds "flights from Guadalajara to Phoenix have been cancelled, as has the flight from Mexico City to the Arizona capital." Aeromexico general director Andres Conesa Labastida tells the paper the routes don't make financial sense with the new law set to take effect. "They aren't our own decisions but there is less travel demand between that state and [Mexico]."

So it's already working then. Viva Arizona!!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You can really be a stupid ####### sometimes

Considering 2/3 of all illegal aliens are Mexican, it's working extremely well actually.

Pike, over the years you have illustrated time and time gain that you have about as much common sense or deductive reasoning as a rock.

If they all fly in on Aeromexico, what's with the fence fetish?

There's still plenty who may 'enter' legally, but overstay their visa/allotted time. So it's helpful either way.

Sadly, the proof of your claim is not in this thread. The proof of mine absolutely is.

The law "works" because a Mexican Airline is suspending flights to Arizona. That's a real gem there, BY. I got a good laugh out of that one!

 ok.

I am sure there are Mexicans who sneak in via cruise liners too. Let's shut it all down.

You have the same approach in every single similar discussion Pike. It's why even if someone illustrated that 100% of x crimes are committed by xyz demographic, you will flat out refuse to accept this means anything and will(without a doubt) run off accusing the person of stereotyping, generalizing or being racist. Basically say anything to totally ignore the reality.

I just don't know what you are trying to prove by defending or downplaying the actions of the same groups.
