paying IV fee but no AOS fee

I used to have a lawyer who filed everything for me, but i guess i picked a bad lawyer and it been 10 years so i'm trying to do it myself.

I'm a petitioner for my son who is over 21, 2 weeks ago my son sent DS-3032 by email and got accepted. 3 days later, the NVC sent a copy of IV fee bill to me and to my son by email.

But when I logged into the payment system online, it says that AOS and IV has not been paid. My question is don't I have to pay AOS fee too? how come the NVC never send me AOS bill or any documents on AOS?

Can i go ahead and pay IV fee and continue with DS-230? or should i call NVC and ask about the AOS?

thanks

If both bills are available to be paid, then go ahead and pay them.

They'll clear in about 24-48 hours.

Unforutunately you probably do have to send another one...I would call the NVC and see if they still have it on file and if they want a new one. that would be the safest bet. I know that once the AOS is signed, it should be good until the visa gets approved, BUT the consulate or NVC can ask for a new one. Being it was over 2 years ago.
