Correct, we lived together for three years, overseas. Just like you all. Perhaps this is the deal.

Seems hard to believe that this can be a perceived problem. We were overseas, not in the US. Go figure...

I can feel for you folks… for whatever reason some of us are left on the Island of misfit toys just waiting for Santa to stop and collect us. Since October 14, 2004, I have been waiting for a K-129F visa and during this time, I have lost two of my three brothers. However, through the good and bad times being without my love one I will never stop waiting and fighting to win what I love most. Never say I give up! Rather, What hoop(s) do you want me to jump through now? Keep smiling!

We recieved another RFE as well yesterday, which is odd considering that when we sent in the last one we got an email saying preliminary processing was done and you should be sorted before we said you would be (I'm paraphasing here).

My fiance and I have been together since 2001, and I wonder if ironically,those of us who have a longer history end up being more thoughly investigated etc. How much can you ask of people who have know each other for a matter of months? Speculation again....would just be nice to see some logic in all this, because right now it just seems like a ####### shoot, and cruel.

It's 2am, no sleep for the exasperated I guess.

A cogent point for sure. Perhaps that is the dealio....met once, K-1 approved. Met every night at the front door to the house for several years, RFE.... Tax dollars at work here. Pitiful...I hope it is IMBRA #2 RFE though...I am weary of any other probing....peace-out, I need sleep...there will be no approval for me tonight, that is sure..

Since you've lived together, they might ask for proof that you guys did not get married before, hence the need for an I-130 and not a K1. Just my two cents though.
