Hi guys, I've got two inquiries today:

Firstly, I couldn't help but notice on other people's timelines that those who have had their biometrics around the beginning of March have already received approval for thier EAD's. My husband's biometric was February 18th and he still hasn't received his EAD. Did we miss a step where we had to send something in and that's why he hasn't gotten approval yet? Or are they just unfortunately lagging on our case. Likewise, is there a number we can call to find an update of his case?

Secondly, we did receive his I-512L, Authorization for Parole of an Alien into the US. This is the document we need so he can take a quick trip back up to Canada, then come back down to the US, correct? I read it and reread it several times, and it looks kosher but you can never be too safe with all the different immigration laws!

I really appreciate your answers and help!! Thank you!!!

There may/may-not be any correlation between when the biometrics is done and when the EAD (and/or PR/Green Card) is issued; other than niether can be issued without first having done the biometrics. Simply it takes anywhere from 30-90 days for EAD (and I think the average is somewhere in th 70-days).

AP (Advance Parole) is for re-entering the US while the AOS is pending. You received 2 pages - upon re-entering (if you do leave), the CBP will retain one and give you the other.
