Can I join in the rant thread? Oh well, whats the point! I am way past ranting and have slid straight to depression. I wish the director of the CSC could spend one day in my shoes. But that would be cruel and unusual punishment!

Look at all my touches lately...I check my email this morning, get all excited and all I got was this...

"On August 2, 2006, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

What is with all the touches??? What could they possibly be doing???

... I cannot sleep without Ambien. I can't even get myself to the gym to workout some of this stress. My skin is breaking out. I am incredibly bitchy and snappy. I want to march into the office of the director of CSC and give her one huge piece of my mind. I cannot even call my senator's office contact and b*tch and moan because I know she has nothing to tell me. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am with you. I have never needed anything the help me sleep before, but last night I had to take something. Yesterday was the 11 month mark since I saw my fiance. I really feel like #######, and no one around me understands what it is like.

One of the most frustrating things is how insulated USCIS is from complaints. We have no real recourse. The department is not tax driven, so that severely limits what can be accomplished through elected officials. This is something that is very, very broken but our voice is not strong enough to make a difference.

I am truly sorry that anyone else is going through this. For those of you that have been waiting since March or before, I appreciate your determination!!!

Look at all my touches lately...I check my email this morning, get all excited and all I got was this...

It is impossible to say, but I know that a lot of the people that got their NOA2 recently were touched a couple of times a few days before they got approval.

I'm guessing the touches were preparation for sending you a response to your response... did you answer no to all the questions on the RFE? It sounds like they want more information from you, or maybe you did not check something off...?

Right there with you Gary!! Depression is a mild term for what we have at this point.

We being held hostage and treated like mushrooms.

I can't sleep, can't focus on work, feeling paralyzed some days. Trying to keep it together, some good days some bad, but when us march noa1's are being neglected, it is really turning everything upside down. To top it off, now my fiance had previously put in her notice to leave her job August 31. It was a good job in Seoul which is very difficult to get and now I will have to support her completely until we can get her here.

####### hurry up and give us the DAMN approvals.

Have you guys seen the movie "Office Space"?

I think that everytime we are pissed off, we should start the "Excuse Me, I Believe You Have My Stapler" forum...and KitKat could even go "Office Space" on her laptop and send it sailing outta the window crashing to the ground below! :P

I just don't understand it. I love and miss my fiance and I was lucky enough to go back and see her again for three weeks last month. Prior to that, I was away from her for 3 1/2 months. We were together for four straight months before that. My question, for those that haven't seen their fiance's for five or six months, is:

HOW DO YOU GO SIX MONTHS WITHOUT GETTING ANY TAIL? Man...

Plus it doesn't help me that I talk to her about three or four times a day and she sounds so sexy on the phone.

William, sorry for hijacking your thread...I'm just getting frustrated too. Not about the process though.

William33, We're hanging with you, no touches, nothing!! Driving us both insane too!!

They say that good things come to those who wait, I know this is not much conciliation to any of us right now, but maybe our good fortune still lies ahead, in ways we do not yet understand!??

No, that didn't help either did it??? :(

Sleepless, frustrated, going completely crazy, angry, the list goes on... yep, know how you feel!!!

We are in the fire that is for sure.

awww have more patience... we will have ur NOA2 within this week for those couples with March noa1.

I can only hope your optimism is justified. I keep trying to be positive to my baby, but its finally both of us completely lonely and frustrated we are still stuck on this first step. We miss one another and if there was some sort of 'countdown' we could do, or at least reason for optimism this would be easier. Us march couples really should get expediated at the embassies (I know, I know, it won't happen. I am just mildly venting. I would just be happy to be waiting on the embassy at this point).

Don't worry too much guys, I'm in the same boat as ya'll. Yea it sucks. My baby is starting to get worried about the amount of time it's taking. She's usually very calm and patient but this whole first step we're on is starting to takes it's toll on her. We just gotta keep trudging on and cherish every moment we have online with our SOs. I'm not sure if this would help any but at this point, I'm just pretending that I'm on a business trip and I wait to see her at 9pm before I go to bed and then we chat. Then when I wake up in the morning as she's about to go to bed and I call her to see what she's done during the day and to wish her good night.

Basically all I'm saying is, despite the monotonous and ridiculous routine of waiting, try to concentrate on making the time you do get to communicate count. Better to occupy the waiting time with something else rather than go crazy over the procrastination of the service centers. We all know there's not a whole lot we can do. If anything, I kinda think of this as a test of each couple's relationship. I'll leave the purpose and result of that test to each of you to ponder. So far, it's made my relationship that much stronger. Hope this helps some of you and if not, well...you can throw my words out the window

Again, don't worry too much, we'll get there soon enough!;)(F) B)

HOW DO YOU GO SIX MONTHS WITHOUT GETTING ANY TAIL? Man...

Sometimes it's $$, sometimes it's work, etc. My fiance was supposed to get sponsored for work & move here in August so no trip was needed. But then they backed out. Summer fares are over $1000 to London, which would be the time I would want to go. I am going next week but it will have been 5 months.

Trust me, this approval beats any sex I could ever have.

I'm sitting here giggling about the "Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler" comment.

I'm not gonna even pretend I know what half of you are going through, as my 129F was mailed like, an hour ago, but I will say it has me worried because it will be going to CSC via Nebraska, and by the sound of it I'll be sitting here twiddling my thumbs (read: ripping my hair out) come February

I say RANT, RAVE, SCREAM, & PROTEST! This is madness and I have been writing this for weeks and even more so now. I couldn't sleep just waiting to see what happens for my case. For those dear souls that have MARCH NOA1 dates, RECALLS, and those who have been waiting for an IMBRA RFE, I feel for you. Patience and tolerance is virtually out the window at this point, but what action can be taken? Are the ombudsmen any help? I am presuming that lawsuits are the next alternative.
