no 'touches' and no email updates

hey there

i am adjusting status from an 01 visa but my adjustment is family based as i got married in december.

i filed at the chicago lock box on january 22nd of this year. i filed 485, 130, 131 and 765 concurrently.

i received all my notices, did my biometrics and received my letter for our interview.

my biometrics was on feb 18th and the woman there said it would proba take about 3 weeks for the card. i have not received the card and haven't received any email updates.

when i put my receipt numbers into the uscis website it just shows 'initial review' and has not changed since the first day i looked at it.

i'm not 100% sure what 'touches' are but i don't see where anything has been touched.

is this unusual?

ok, i just signed into my account, not just the case status page, and the 485 was last updated on 3.17, but both the AP and EAD have not been updated since 2.8.

Yeah i have not got one e-mail update for any of the "touches" i had. I also have received my interview letter but the case status still stands at "initial review". I don't know if people have had better luck in the past or not but everyone in the February filers still has the same "initial review"

Don't worry about not getting touches (changes in the last updated date). They are still working on your case. My applications were accepted at the lockbox on the 18th of January, I have an NOA date of January 25th and I still have not received my EAD. It seems that, for some of us, the process of getting EAD is super slow.......

01/25/10 - Checks cashed, NOAs sent!! (Day 1)

01/28/10 - NOAs received - dated 1/25/10 (Day 3)

02/04/10 - Biometrics letter received! (Day 10)

02/16/10 - Biometrics appointment, Modesto, CA - COMPLETED! (Day 22)

03/11/10 - Received interview notice - April 15, 2010 in Fresno, CA (Day 45)

03/18/10 - AP Approved (for my daughter - not me)!! (Day 52)

03/24/10 - Touch I-485 and email that RFE received on 2/18/10 (Day 58)

04/05/10 - INFOPASS appointment -- was told NBC must have decided not to process AP or EAD because interview was so soon. (Day 70)

04/13/10 - Email - EAD Card production ordered, Touch on my AP (Day 78)

04/15/10 - Interview @ 10:30am - APPROVED!!! Email - Green Card production ordered! (Day 80)

04/16/10 - My AP received in mail (no approval email), ANOTHER email EAD Card production ordered, Touch on I-765, I-485 & I-130 (Day 81)

04/20/10 - Green card status changed to post-decision activity, Touch on I-765 & I-485 (Day 85)

04/26/10 - Greencard RECEIVED!!!! (Day 91)

cool. thanks. yeah, i've been looking around on here and it seems that EAD production got a little slower for late january filers. we have our interview on the 12th and my current visa doesn't expire till a couple of weeks after that so i'm all good. was just wondering if maybe that had anything to do with my overall case but seems like lots of people are in our boat.

production or EAD and AP cards finally ordered!!! just got email today. interview on monday.

02/12/10 - NOA Notice Date

02/22/10 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 03/09/10 (Notice date 02/17/10)

02/23/10 - Biometrics done

03/08/10 - Second biometric letter received (retaking fingerprints), appointment date 03/22/10 (Notice date 03/03/10)

03/22/10 - Fingerprints retaken

04/12/10 - Interview letter received, appointment date 05/13/10 (Notice date 04/08/10)

Congrats to those who have been receiving EADs/APs/interview letters!

I have not had any touches since Feb.24 :-(

don't worry. my NOA's were dated 1/28 and my last touch on both was feb 8th, until today. have you done your biometrics? i received my interview notice about 2 weeks after completing the biometrics. i'm in los angeles. i'm sure it changes from state to state.
