Hi, I filed for my application of Report of Marriage by mail in Washington DC two weeks ago and I thought they will process the documents five (5) working days after receipt by the Embassy as stated on the application form. Does anyone know how long it will take for the processing? Thank you in advance!

. 04/16/2007 - Mailed I-129F
. 04/25/2007 - NOA1
. 10/12/2007 - NOA2
. 02/11/2008 - Forwarded to NVC
. 03/13/2008 - Forwarded to Consulate
. 04/22/2008 - Interview at US Embassy
. 05/06/2008 - Visa Approved (After 2 weeks of Doc. Verification)
. 05/08/2008 - Visa in Hand!
AOS TIMELINE:
. 08/26/2008 - Applied AOS via UPS
. 09/02/2008 - Case shown online as "received and pending"
. 09/03/2008 - Check Cashed!
. 09/08 /2008 - Received NOA'S for AOS and EAD (Notices Dated: 9/02/2008)
. 09/11/2008 - Received Notice for Biometrics Appointment (Notice Dated: 9/04/2008)
. 10/01/2008 - Biometrics Appointment
. 11/17/2008 - EAD Approval Sent; EAD Card Received
. 02/23/2009 - Received Letter for Interview

you should already have received it. anyway, you can email them and ask about your application, just follow the instruction on how to do it, at their website :)

hope you didn't forget to send a sekf-adrressed envelope :)

04-25-2008 Interview, visa aproved, no RFEs!

05-07-2008 Visa on hand ! Wow, less than 3 months! Thank you Lord!

05-26-2008 POE Detroit, no problems, thank God!

07-01-2008 Married 07-01-08, civil, just us w/ his parents

Thank you Zen Den and 1-10 West. I spoke with the operator at the Philippine Consulate and she said that it will take 3 months for them to process because they are getting heavy loads on all the applications. That's a long time but I can't do anything but wait. I wanted to renew my passport soon and wanted to use my married name.
