just wondering ...why is marc ellis on this site? and visa talk?

Why shouldn't he be?

My experience with Mr. Ellis was mixed. I had the same problems with errors on the paperwork, but after living here for a year and a half I realize that is all too common. He more than made up for it with the mock interview though. Afterwards he warned me to be careful and he was right. I suspected my ex was full of it before I even married her, but I just went along with it until I had hard evidence. Some guys don't want to here that their "Honey" may be lying to them, but it just gave me more food for thought.

If we had actually made it to an interview I would have retained him for the remained of the time. I know of too many people that he has helped.

If I were doing it again, and I probably will some day, I would retain him due to potential complexities.

If I felt my case were simple and straightforward I would do it myself and retain him if need be.

Here you go. His number is 0903705346 (Chu Loc or Luc), mention our name Loi & Suong back in 2008. I don't know exactly address, but close to Quan 1, NHA THO DUC BA.

Our case only cost $250, including 1 million dong for Cho Ray (Physical checkup), from Start to End. My wife only give him $150 to Start with, after you passed the interview, and you will give him the last $100. YOU SHOULD COST LESS!!!

Tell your wife go there and checkout, and also you should call Chu Loc for more information. I personel called him myself to get to know him, and chic chat over our paperwork.

Good luck.

Yes, he has helped people dealing with consulates all over the world. However, don't expect a face-to-face consultation unless you're willing to go to Vietnam, or perhaps catch him when he's in the US.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

If you need a Great Lawyer- Marc Ellis is the one. I can not say enough how Marc Ellis and his assistant in Guangzhou helped my wife and I. Marc Ellis takes the time to listen to your story. I had filed for a K-1 visa with a different Lawyer, case was denied in Guangzhou. I contacted Marc Ellis, explained the case to him. After a long conversation with Marc , I than understood all the red flags in the case. Plan B, I fly to china marry my fiancée . After I arrived home, I started the case all over again, this time CR1. Because of the red flags in the case, I was contacted by letter to go to the local USCIS office for an interview. As the USC , my wife in China, I ask Why? I called Marc Ellis, talked to him about the interview. I had 30 days to gather more evidence for the interview. Marc Ellis took a plane from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to California . After a day of rest for Marc Ellis after such a long flight, we go to USCIS office for the interview. Interview was about one hour, after answering many questions. USCIS officer ask for bank statements . Another delay in the case. I ask if I had the bank statement with me if case would be forwarded to Guangzhou? Officer was kind and understanding. Officer told me after they receive bank statements, I would receive answer by mail. Case was forwarded to Guangzhou. I fly to Guangzhou to be with my wife at interview. One day before interview we meet Marc Ellis assistant in Guangzhou, Eunice. Eunice was very kind and patient with my wife. She helped to calm my wife's anxiety. Eunice helped to put all the paperwork in order for my wife's interview. The next day my wife and I walked from the hotel to the embassy for the interview. I stand in line with my wife, at the security check point I give my wife a hug and than walk to Starbucks, and wait and wait and wait. It was raining lightly outside, and so hot and humid. I sit in Starbucks sipping a ten buck cup of coffee while watching for the return of my wife from the interview. The view of my wife clutching all the paper work while she ran down the street was priceless. I knew as she ran through the doors with tears running down her face the visa was approved. I picked up my wife and swung her around as I hugged her with joy in my heart, CRI approved!!!! Thank you Marc Ellis Thank you Eunice!!!!! My wife and I flew back California, The plane landed Oct 16,2014. POE San Francisco. We have been blessed. Our first child is due September 2, 2014 Baby Boy!!!!!!!!!! This journey started in 2011, married June 2012, Just wanted to share the good news,

feel free to move, my first post

I also have to offer my opinion. We used Marc Ellis and his assistant Nam Le. We were very satisfied Their interview prep is invaluable. When certain papers were needed, they would contact my wife by phone and explain what she needed to do and where she needed to go. When it came time for paying the fees in HCMC and going for the medical exam, Nam Le escorted my wife through the whole process..

I will offer a couple of things that have already been stated in this thread.

  • Take the time to meet with a couple of lawyers and hire the one that best suits you and your situation. Most complaints I've heard have been related to personality conflicts (most, not all).
  • Marc does look from the BIG PICTURE perspective, BUT, he also knows the law very well, and understands the process down to every comma, and exclamation point. Knowing that, he can avoid certain situations with consulate staff, as he knows what their job entails, and what they are allowed, and not allowed to do.
  • If you're thinking of hiring a lawyer, do it before you file your initial paperwork.

GOOD LUCK Everyone....
