who do I contact about divorcing K-1 visa holder?

There's no case to file it with ... she didn't get an LPR A#. I expect it would be disregarded.

Just because this statement confused me, I'm asking. :P

The A# I was assigned during the K1 side of the process is the same one I have as an LPR. Is that not the case with everyone?

Or did you mean that the A# assigned is not 'tied' to an LPR status?

Your experience is what should happen. But some people accumulate 2 or possibly more A#s from the various applications that are submitted to USCIS along the way. Especially if they do not put their A# where asked for on the applications the USCIS may assign a new A# to that application.

Many people do not realize that they get an A# right at the beginning with the petition, in part because the USCIS does not always put the A# on the Receipt Notice and sometimes not on the Approval Notice.
