New Delhi Embassy

Folks, is it really taking 2.5 to 3 months for an interview date after the Delhi embassy gets the I-130 package? I read this number on the "Embassy Info" tab in this site.

I just sent in my I-864 and should be getting the DS-230 pretty soon (to send back). So, hopefully the NVC will forward the case to the New Delhi embassy in 6 weeks (fingers corssed) -- but ANOTHER 2.5 months after that for an interview date?

Does anyone have any up-to-date info?

Thanks,

KP

Alkhan -- ha! ha! Very funny. Maybe it's taking 4 months in Pakistan...

Seriously -- people from New Delhi embassy -- any veterans around? Anyone have any insight into how long it's taking to get an interview date after the I-130 case gets forwarded to the consulate? I am trying to plan some vacation.....

Cheers,

KP
