Have today received notice to attend for our interview in Atlanta on September 12th at 01.00 PM. :dance:

Was not expecting to get a date through for a few more months so this has come as a surprise.

Can I just ask, on the interview notice there is a couple of black marks on the checklist - can I presume that these original items are definitely required for the interview it states my husbands birth certificate (we only have a photocopy) and evidence of his citizenship. (The original was lost in a house fire along with other original documents) .

Also there was enclosed an additional piece of paper marked Notice to Applicant stating if you have ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcement officer for any reason you must bring evidence as listed below and it then goes on to list scenarios and the documents required. I take it that this is just a standard insert with the letter - as far as I am aware neither of us has any convictions or arrests.

10/01/08 Biometrics completed

03/02/09 Case transferred to CSC

04/04/2009 Received approval letter

03/31/2009 Date of Decision

05/01/2009 Card production ordered

05/07/2009 Received card

I will say they like to see orginal birth certificates. the young lady who saw us told us that :) also if neither has a criminal record no worries good luck

I also got my interview letter today!!!!! :dance: And it was also a surprise, since the last time I heard from them was in June, I thought they had forgotten about me! I'll have to go to Atlanta, Ga. on September 13th at 1 PM.

Like you, I got that separate sheet talking about if I was ever arrested and all (which I have NOT), is that just for me or for my husband too? - he is the American citizen. He had a D.U.I (on a 4-wheeler!!!!) about 4 years ago.

07/03- EAD "touched"

07/07- EAD approved/mailed

07/10- EAD card received

09/13- Interview

09/29- Rec'd Green Card

07/24 - Bio. appoint. letter recv'd

07/28 - Request for reescheduling sent
