Post containing TOS violation removed. Acceptable portions of the response are returned to the thread here:

katrinebonn: sha, if you are an American citizen, it would be better for the two of you to get married in Pakistan and then go to the United States. This is only based on what people here in the Philippines say about migrating in the United States. It would be easier for a foreigner to become an American if she marries an American before coming in the United States.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Either works. Pick the one that works best for you after learning each process and it's positives and negatives. What's best is a personal decision. One problem with the US Citizen leaving the USA for several months, is they have a hard time qualifying to sponsor their loved one without a job.

A Warning to Green Card Holders About Voting

I think you should read the guides if you haven't already. That will explain the types of visa. I especially like the relatively new form in the guides that compares the different types with benefits and disadvantages of each one. If you are planning on getting married and then applying for a visa, that tells me you are not applying for a K-1...Also, read the forums and find out the typical stories for Pakistan. That will help you find out what is easiest for you and suits your needs.

Yes - people come to the US to get married every day - Las Vegas comes to mind but it applies to all states.

2.I go to pakistan get married and i come back and file for her case??

Up to you - a personal choice.

Having gotten married here in the US or abroad doesn't really play a role in speeding up or slowing down the process. Married is married.

The CR-1 Visa path would be the most recommended way for a married couple living apart.

A step-by-step guide for CR-1 can be found here.
