Quick question about phone records

I know that phone records are very good evidence, however i read on another thread that it help that the phone bill is in your name. Will it be ok if its in my parents name? Also I will not be calling the states from my parents landline without going through a cheap access number which will not show what number i have called in the world. How can i overcome this? Thanks

If you can't provide phone records, you can also use emails, msn chats, letters, etc. to provide an ongoing relationship.

Phone bills are not nesscary. You can even use some calling card record if you have any. But under your name I would suggest.

This is one reason why I use Vonage to call my love in the Ukraine. It is very cheap and via a broadband connection I have a telephone account in my name.

Also, if you are going to use an interpeter... What I did in the beginning, was I used an interpeter who placed the call for me. I asked her to invoice me at the end of the month, indicating the number she called to my fiance in the Ukraine. It is another way of shoing the same thing.

Whatever you do, build evidence that you have a legit relationship: emails, letters, cards, photos, SMS's online chat transcripts, etc...

Along this line, how many months of phone records would be good? I get a pretty good international rate through my phone company direct and am thinking wayyyyyyy ahead for the interview.

Is this evidence for the initial filing of the I-129F or at interview stage? It is not a requirement of the I-129F when first filed to show an ongoing relationship. Evidence of an ongoing/bonafide relationship is needed at the interview stage unless you have red flags you wish to address and/or the interview will be held in a high fraud country.

Aussie is 100% correct-you don't need to supply that type of information yet. At the initial stage, you just have to prove that you have met your fiance. I sent a few phone bills & I swear it held us up(I have no proof of that-just my opinion). I thought I needed to send a bunch of things but I didn't. Save the phone bills for the interview
