You can't hijack someone else's thread with your completely irrelevant question to the OP.

Your father in law CAN't file I-130 for you. Your wife has to submit the I-130. Read the instructions for I-130 filing up in the guides.

sorry, father in law cannot be:

1. primary sponser

2. petitioner

and

YOU will never recieve an NOA-1 - the PETITIONER receives an NOA-1

Since you are coming in on an immigrant visa based on FAMILY (in this case, your USC spouse ) -

the SPOUSE must petition for you.

The father-in-laws signature on the form, indicates that HE is the sponser.

Which is NOT ALLOWED.

You can inquire 'how was the fee paid' to 'that family' -

if a personal check - surely it's been cashed by now, and there is record of some bank transcaction.

You might want to ask your question again in a different forum - this is not the right forum for your question.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Post split away from separate thread in Moving Here and Your New Life in America forum, and triplicate copies of post removed. It is not necessary to post the same post more than once. Also, please start a new thread instead of trying to start a new topic in someone else's thread.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
