firstly hello everyone

My name is jack.... i was searching the internet for forums just like these and couldnt find an answer to my question

I am just starting my K1 visa and have recentally be told by my fiancee that she is / may be pregnant... ( to me of course and we were not planning it :S)

She lives in USA and i live in England..

if she does turn out to be pregnant will this hinder the visa process at all....

at the moment i am not working but may be shortly and she is in a retail job....

any help will be great

It won't hinder the process. Once the child is born the household size will increase by 1. This may impact the income required for the affidavit of support depending on where you are in the process.

They are not considered how much you are earning at your current job. They are only looking at how much your USC fiance is earning. If she does not earn enough to meet the 125% needed for your new +1 family size, start looking for a co-sponsor if you have not already. Other than that, it won't change anything with the process.

It will make no difference at all in the process. If she has the baby before she presents the I-134, she will have to make enough to support a family of THREE instead of a family of TWO. Your employment situation will make no difference in the process either.
