Hi,

I came to US on an H1B visa and I'm marrying my fiance (US citizen) next month. When filing for AOS, the I-145 forms needs me to fill in my alien registration number that starts with an A. Where can I find this number? and does every person on a H, B or K visa get this number assigned?

Thanks for your help...

I am also under an H-1B and don't have an Alien number.

On all the forms which we filled out, the Alien number was left blank (e.g. on the I-485 it says "A # (if any))

I believe most forms ask for the I-94 number also, so make sure to fill that one in.
