My sons interview will be in February 11, 2010. My USC husband petitioned them, they are 17 and 15 yrs old. Eevrything went smooth during the process but still we are so nervous for their interview. Are there reasons for them to be denied for a visa? and what are the common reason ? what are the possible questions during the interview? We are thinking of buying their plane ticke now so they could travel with us back here in US. Is this a good idea to buy ticket prior to their interview or should we wait till they get a visa. They are in Philippines right now. Please we need advice... we'r confused. thanks

the only reason to 'fail a visa interview' on a Follow To Join case is the casefile, IMO.

So, if the casefile is good, you should not have any problem.

what are you confused about ?

FWIW, don't buy tickets for air travel until they have visa stamp in passport, and passport in their hands.

also - can you tell us? is K-4 follow to join, or is CR-2 ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

i dont really know if its a k-4 or cr-2 . My usc husband is the one who petitioned them. i came here on a fiancee visa, got married 2 yrs ago so my sons can no longer avail the follow to join with me so my husband petitioned them and after 12 months my sons are now waiting for their interview.

Can you ask your husband what he did ?

Ask him which petition he filed.

Better yet, ask to see any papers that were sent to him.

I'm guessing is two I-130 petitions.
