G-325A (4 copies) and passport style photo (Beneficiary)

Birth certificate/US Passport (Petitioner)

Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

Proof of having met in person in the past two years

42 printed Digital Photos with labels (7 pages of 6 photos each)

My fiance signed a letter of intent while I was with her this weekend, but the date says today, when we had no contact. The rest of her forms state 1-1-10. Only that form states 1-4-10. Is this an issue?

the date is the date she signed teh affidavit, no requirement to be together on that date...

We did pre-sign some blank pieces of paper in case of having to change things so I guess that would apply here. How about the rest of the packet, does it look ok?

1. The passport photos have nothing to do with the G325a, so need their own line item.

2. You are submitting evidence of meeting, not "proof"

3. I would cut down the photos to about a dozen or so.

4. If by tickets and receipts you mean boarding passes, call them boarding passes.

5. I would skip the letters from family members at the petition stage and probably altogether as well.

1. Will do thank you

2. Not sure I follow

3. I put them on 7 pages, and they do detail, almost all trackable events (with the tickets, reciepts and boarding passes) throughout our 10 vacations together. I tried to only include relevant photos that showed both time and trackable events.

4. I will add boarding passes into the description, but we had enough to span multiple pages, with both her and I doing scans, and I have also including sporting event tickets, ferry ticket, hotel receipts and the engagement ring receipt.

5. I read the other forums on the letters, and feel better sending more info than less. I also wanted to assemble the packet for her interview, as it will basically be the same, just as the guides recommended. Is this wrong thinking?

Is there a point where the additional information will hurt you? I highlighted all relevant details on the tickets and receipts, and also wrote on them to identify photos they provided info for, if applicable.

I followed the example cover letter, and #2 may be something to point out there. I do understand after I re read it, sorry today has been crazy at work. My entire document is 62 pages including everything. Is that too much?

Thanks for the responses, and thanks in advance to any more.

"Front Loading" can help a case.

K-1 initially needs to show that you met in the 2 year period and your both free to marry. (USCIS/NVC)

At the embassy - that is when you want to show you two are really "in love" and committed to marrying.

So - sending it all at first is "ok" but don't go overboard. "Samples" of your life :)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Each filing/case is different. Add to that, each consulate has different policies.... So dependant upon the situation at hand, one case may be very small and another may exceed 10 lbs. USCIS only cares if you are free to marry and meet the criteria to be eligible for the petition... the consulate has a different perspective all together.... Some consulates can be a real pain and can make it difficult to submit evidence of a bona-fide relationship... many here suggest that the file be frontloaded with everything that will be needed at the consulate stage to show a bonafide relationship... it is up to you as to what you submit beyond the minimum requirements... I suggest that you go through the regional forums for your specific country and see what others say and take that advice to heart.. someone from another country may not have the best ideas given their inexperience with your specific country/consulate and could possibly direct you down a bad path..

I think you're sending a bit much, we only sent (along with other documents) about 5 photos printed on one page, airline ticket, boarding pass, dinner bill and just got approved a couple days ago. I would save the skype stuff and emails for the interview.

If you end up in AP or run into problems such as them saying you did not provided enough evidence of bonafide relationship while at the same time refusing to accept evidence at the interview.... you would likely wish you had loaded it on the front end.... just because you had enough to get an NOA2 does not mean that was the best decision in the long run... best of luck to you in your case, but the OP's SO is from a different country and they are not all the same when it comes to consulates..
