hello everyone,

please advice

I'm on a K3 status and already admitted to the US for 5 months now, i have not yet applied for adjustment of status, i have a 5 year old daughter and she is in the Philippines, now i want to bring her to the US, my question is, what are the procedure we need to do so that she will still get a visa under K4?

she was listed on the I-129 when my husband filed the petition for me, but i did not apply for her visa and brought her with me during the time of my interview at the embassy.. so what steps do we need to do? i am confused about this.. do we need to file again the form I-130 for her?

i hope you can advice me guys regarding this matter..

have a nice day

We did the same thing, but in Thailand (Rin received a K3 in April 2007, her children K-4s in October 2007). payxibka is correct, contact the embassy - for us we simply had to send the packet 3 info for the children and checklist indicating they were ready for their interview. I also sent a separate e-mail request for their interview to be a specific week (about six weeks out from the request) as Rin and I were returning to Thailand so wanted to have the interview while we were there. They scheduled it for the week we requested (interview was two questions to the children - "Is this your mother?" and "Do you want to live in the USA?").
