I am one of the winners of DV Lottery 2010, live in NYC and wanted to go for interview here in NYC too instead of going back to my country.

I filled out and sent all the required forms and the initial fee. What is my next step?

According to Visa Bulletin my lottery number is processed this month:

I am currently on F1 student status

I believe you file the requested files and wait for an interview like the rest of the people do.

The lotto just gives you the option to apply and wait to be interviewed for a Green Card.

Thats what I get from reading the instructions anyways.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks for replying Inky.

As I understand from what other people say, I need to apply for adjustment of status in order to have interview in NYC. This is separate form or set of documents that need to be sent to USCIS. But I don't know what exactly is this.

Im not completely sure if you file the exact same papers or if you need extra papers as its from the lottery?

" Registrants living legally in the United States who wish to apply for adjustment of their status must contact the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services for information on the requirements and procedures. Only participants in the DV-2010 program who were selected for further processing have been notified. Those who have not received notification were not selected. They may try for the upcoming DV-2011 lottery if they wish. The dates for the registration period for the DV-2011 lottery program will be widely publicized during August 2009. "

Thats taken from the website for DV lottery information.
