Hi Everyone,

I am just submitting the AOS for my wife and her daughter (who came here on K1 and K2 Visas) and it's been 8 months since they arrived. I married my then fiancé right as she got here and we had a baby shortly thereafter - thus, we've been pretty busy!

Should I attach an explanation of this in reference to why we didn't get our AOS in sooner?

If I understand correctly as long as USCIS gets the AOS submission within 9 months we haven't broken the law as we are less than 6 months out of status (we had 3 months on the K1/K2 visas and it's been another 5 since).

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

K
