Hello Fellow VJ's,

Just want to share my feelings that I am so Blessed that I have a Filipina Wife and 2 lovely daughter (wife's kids) and that our Wedding was successfully done this end of October 2009 in the Philippines.

Now, just want to ask you all guys what do I need / or requirements to have my family be with me in the US ASAP...

MY CHECKLIST:

- G325A (for me and my wifey)

- I-130 (for my wife and two daughter)

- Money Order

- Passport (mine, wife, and kids)

- Birth Certificates (me, wife, and kids)

- Marriage Certificate / NSO Marriage Certificate

- Pictures (Wedding)

- Honeymoon (Pics)

- Pics (2 x 2 - for me and wife, & the kids)

- Family Pics / Friends Pics (visits Pics, etc.)

Fellow VJ's - DO I LACK OTHER DOCS? Thanks so much and God Bless Us All....

And how to process the Affidavit of Witness?

FIRST UP,CONGRATULATIONS on you're wedding :) You have everything you need. btw when the time comes that she'll be havin' her interview she should bring phone records,emails/ym's anything to prove youre relationship.good luck on you're journey :).

Sept. 9, 2009 - received approval email from USCIS thru CRIS

Sept. 14, 2009 - NOA2 hardcopy received by husband

Nov. 4, 2009 - CASE COMPLETE @NVC!

Congrats on the marriage. Your list is pretty complete. The only thing I added was two Affidavits from people attending the wedding since we were newly married. :thumbs:

Some general advice:

Start saving everything....

YM Chat Logs, text messages, e-mails, receipts for money sent and items mailed either way (including the packaging with postmarks).

Add her to you bank accounts, utility bills & insurance policies. No she doesn't need to have a SSN or even be here for most of it.

Phone records, don't use calling cards that don't give you a detailed report. We use MagicJack and my Cell Phone. The cell phone gives detailed call billing and I've just added the magicjack number to my "list" so that the calls are all free!

It's embarrassing how well documented Anna & I have our first year together...


Must have info for bringing your Philippine wife/fiancee's child to the US
