i have a problem with nbi clearance had an appointment in USEM my nbi records show "no criminal records on file" told me that they will call NBI personally and will notify me of the status. I remember having went to court but was dropped. its all about a couple having a dispute and and I interevene, ( I was a security guard back then ). Do you have any similarity like this and if so what has the outcome. thanks.

If you intervened in a domestic dispute, in the performance of your duties as a security person; this will not be an issue.

That said, why do you ask if your record shows as highlighted above?

It shouldn't have been a problem.

■Any applicant who has been arrested, charged or convicted of a crime must present an explanatory letter from the NBI listing each record on file and any relevant court records associated with convictions, dismissals or findings of innocence for serious crimes. This letter is required if an applicant’s NBI Certificate has any of the following notations: “NO CRIMINAL RECORD”, “NO PENDING CRIMINAL CASE”, or “WITH DEROGATORY RECORD”. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is considered valid only for one year from the date it is issued. You may contact the NBI at (632) 523-82-31 to 38 if you have any questions.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
