HELLO FRIENDS,

ME AND MY HUBBY HAVE HAD PEOPLE SAY THEY GOT DEINIED BECAUSE SOMEONE IN THE STATES INTRODUCE THEM AND SOME SAYING THE GOT DENIED BECAUSE THE MET ONLINE AND THE MARRIAGE BEEN TERMED AS FOR IMMIGRATION PURPOSES AND THE CASE FILE SENT BACK TO USCIS/NVC.....

JUST WANNA HAVE YOUR OPINIONS AND ADVICE ON WHICH IS BEST TO SAY AT ONE OF THE HARDEST, FRAUD OR SCAM US CONSULATE IN LAGOS THAT WE MET ONLINE OR WE THAT MY SISTER INTRODUCE HIM TO ME?

MIND YOU WE ARE NOT TRYING TO LIE BUT WE JUST WANT TO ADDRESS ALL POSSIBLE RED FLAGS WITH YOUR HONEST REPONSE.

I advise just telling the truth. Firstly, asking for advice on what story to give the Consulate is asking for help in committing fraud. Secondly, once tied into a lie is a sure way to get tripped up at the consulate interview and be denied.

Just tell the truth, be honest. It is what they will be looking for.

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, SAY THE REAL FACT BEHIND YOUR MEETING. I THINK YOU MAY NOT HAVE TOO MUCH OBSTACLE TO OVERCOME SINCE YOU ARE MARRIED. IF YOU SAY ANYTHING DIFFERENT IT MAY CREATE A PROBLEM IF YOU OR YOUR HUBBY'S ANSWER DIFFERS FOR THE SAME QUESTION. IF YOU STICK TO YOUR REALITY THERE WILL BE LESS ANXIETY. IF YOUR HUBBY ATTEND THE INTERVIEW ALONE HE NEEDS TO ANSWER HONESTLY AND KNOW ALMOST EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU IN CASE THEY ASK HIM.

REMEMBER THIS, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU SAY AT THAT EMBASSY, THEY ARE VERY DISTRUSTING AND OFTEN PREFER LIARS BUT YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

THE LENGTH OF TIME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WITH YOUR SPOUSE MATTERS TO THEM, AND THE AGE DIFFERENCE ALSO MATTERS. AS LONG AS YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND PAPERS ARE GENUINE THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING TO FEAR, THEY WILL VERIFY ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS IF THERE IS A NEED FOR IT, THEY EVEN MAKE HOME VISITS IF THEY ARE IN DOUBT. YOUR HUBBY HAS TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT HIMSELF TOO, IF HE HAD BEEN MARRIED BEFORE, HE NEED TO GET APPROPRIATE DIVORCE, HE MUST BE HONEST ABOUT EVERYTHING EVEN IF HE HAS KIDS! IT IS NOT A CRIME - HIDING IT IS THE CRIME.

HEY! DON'T MIND THE CYNICS HERE A LOT OF THEM ARE WORSE THAN THE FEW FRAUDULENT NIGERIANS AND THE NIGERIAN IMPOSTERS THAT SENDS THEM SCAM E-MAILS.

AND I AM TYPING IN CAPS FOR THOSE THAT MAKES INTERNET RULES (GIVE ME A BREAK!)

FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY IS FOUND IN EVERY COUNTRY, NOT JUST NIGERIA, SOMEONE JUST RIPPED PEOPLE OFF IN THE BILLIONS IN THE U.S, THAT IS IN EXCESS OF ANY FRAUDULENT ACT BY ALL THE SO CALLED "NIGERIAN FRAUDSTERS" IN TOTAL. PLEASE, STOP BADMOUTHING A NATION THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT EXCEPT FOR WHAT YOU READ IN THE NEWS.

I AM VERY PROUD TO BE A NIGERIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, ALL THE MTFs CAN GO TO HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Thank you LOLAs and i love Nigeria too, before i went to Nigeria i had alot of story about the country but 80% of it was negative but i never let that distort the love or trust and view i had about my husband, my husband was studying in Malaysia when i met and on getting to Nigeria we lived with his parents, and i was out in the streets of Lagos and just to discover that most of the ranting, and stuffs we heard while in the states are just media propaganda, i found Nigeria and Nigerian to be lovable people, good people and God fearing people. As we drive by anytime me and hubby goes out i was never a day reading on cars, houses, shops etc stuffs like God is Good, Glory be to God, My God is ominipotent, With God all things are possible etc and i said to my hubby you know what and he said what honey, then i said America needs to learn from you guys and he said learn what and i told him about all the Godly stuffs i had been reading.

I think what we stay over in the US and hear about other Nations are not substantial reason for anybody to vindication or crucify that Nation or its citizens, Nigeria is a good country and talking about fraud or scams which will u conseider worst the emerging mails from Nigeria compared to the thuosands in million of dollars in the MADOFFS case, perpetrated by an organised cartel in the united states.

Guys lets just leave the JUDGEMENT for GOD and as the holy bible say Judge not that thou may be not Judge.

i can't say this any better. I wish you goodluck in your interview. Tell your story as it is and you will be glad you did. A lot of people get their visa's while others don't, they (the consulars) have their tons of reasons some of which I think is based on the presumptions that people just want to come to the embassy and lie. It is such beliefs that actually makes people lie to the consular because they are just not satisfied with the truth! they want perfection where there is none. I always believe that when you say the truth your mind is free, and God almighty will approve your visa. When the lord approve your visa no one can deny it. So breathe, pray, and leave the rest to God. Everyone over their is created by God and He will take control of the situation. Goodluck to you.

KDor,

I know your so in love now and have a feelin of belonging and that it's you and your husband against immigration/ Lagos embassey. Please understand, that if your husband see that your willing to lie for his entrance into the U.S. He will love you soooooo much for that, but then if your husband decides that he wants to leave you ( if your marriage turns out to be a green card marriage) he will have the fact that you and he lied, and he can start telling you things like "You lied on a legal document, I didn't sign that document and tell you that if you don't let him divorce you that he'd make sure he expose your illegal behavior before he leaves this country.

When I was there in Nigeria I had a good time also; the people were nice, however Nigerians will try to outsmart/scam each other; that I got from my ex-husband who turned out to be a green card scammer. he told me how Nigerians can be good con men. My ex was a medical doctor there in Lagos, and he still scammed me then tried to turn it all around and say that I was abrusive towards him. He told bold obvious lies concerning me, and didn't care. He became very emotionally/verbally abrusive towards me ; But all thru the process he was all in love and talked about how we will never divorce and this and that. He pretty much said the things a women in love would want to hear. His family supported him in his qwest to get to America. However while I was in Nigeria his family was very supportive of me too. So it appeared.

Lastly, I'll just say this; you know your husband; and I'm sure that you miss the heck out of him, but let me tell you one thing, your perception on Nigeria is that way because you were protected the whole time you were there, I susgest that you do some reading up on Nigeria!!!

I hope that you and your hubbie can reunite and live as a couple soon and all the best to you.
