Hello everyone,

I have a small problem I want to ask some information about. I have passed my interview and medical 2 weeks ago and I went out to celebrate with my friends. Also a goodbye since I'll be moving to my fiance in a couple of days.

Now the problem is that I accidently drunk out of someone elses glass (Or he changed out glasses, I don't know), It had drugs in it. I felt really sick and someone asked the guy if it had drugs in it and he admitted it did.

Now I am so afraid, if they'll do a drugstest. and if they do if they'll believe me. So will they? I know this type will be out of my blood in 1 month, I've looked it up.

What can I do? No ambulance, police or any of authority got involved...

First off the only drug that stays in your body for a month is marijuana, because THC (what gets you high in marijuana) is fat soluble, and stays in your fat cells . I don't know how you drank marijuana??? Although, I see that you are Dutch and it wouldn't surprise me that in the Netherlands there was some drinkable form of THC. Not saying this in a derogatory way, Netherlands are just more relaxed and innovative botanically speaking.

BTW I love your countries Tulips ;)

Anything else that you mistakenly consumed will most likely be out of your urine within three days.

And if you passed your medical I don't think you need to worry about medical stuff until you adjust status here. ( I may be wrong)

Best of luck on your move to the States.

It was GHB....It's a party drug Are you sure it's out of my body in 3 days? I've read different.

Thanks for your quick reply's.

I was thinking of going to the police. But I don't have any proof of him doing it on purpose. I just called my friend and she said that she is pretty sure of it. But if it's out of my blood, and I won't have any trouble with my immigration, I think I'm just gonna let it rest.

GHB is a date rape drug, and is not tested for in standard drug tests. You can even be high on GHB when you take the test, and you'll pass.

The drug itself is undetectable in urine or blood, but it's metabolites are detectable with specific (and expensive) testing within about 24 hours. After that, even the metabolites are not detectable. GHB testing is rarely done unless it's specifically suspected, such as date rape cases.

You can't prove he gave it to you, but it would be great if he got busted with it in his possession and spent a very long time in jail.

There's no reason for them to do another blood test, you've already had it. So you'll be fine!!

IF they did, and IF they found it (which from what others say they wouldn't anyway) there's not a snowballs chance in hell that they'd believe your story though!!

Just out of curiosity. What type of drug test is administered for the medical exam? I was guessing a urinalysis. Or is it a blood test?
