Sooo, we got our interview last week for Nov 11... the operator I spoke with said that it was being forwarded to the embassy... There was a package that went out last week and signed for on Friday by the consulate in Naples....

My husband wrote to Naples to see if there was a chance to get an earlier date for the interview (I know, hate me if you will, I know about everyone waiting forever for interviews, but don't hate me for trying)

Anyways, they replied that they DO have some earlier openings however, they cannot do anything until they receive the case from NVC!!! When I called NVC today, they said that they have not sent it out yet!!!

JIMMINY CHRISTMAS!!! NVC, SEND OUT OUR FILE PLEASE!!! I mean, they are DONE with everything and we are STILL waiting on NVC!!!! Just frustrating... I mean Nov 11 is just around the corner, but if we can get a week or two earlier, then great, if not no biggie, we are still really happy and excited and I have no real reason to b!tch (but I will anyway), but c'mon....

The closer it is, the more impatient we grow!!!

There is nothing bad in trying and if you get the earlier date that would be great news. It seems like time is going by a lot slower now since interview date has been assigned, even though I won't be able to go out to pick her up until Nov 25th.

Good luck and wish you do get the earlier date even if it is a week or two earlier.

09-13-2012 : Check cashed, email and text received with case number

09-14-2012 : Biometrics letter mailed

09-15-2012 : NOA received dated 09-10

09-17-2012 : Biometrics letter received for 09-27

02-25-2013 : Interview Passed - Original interview was 01-07-2013 but was out of country so postponed

Gundas, I completely agree that ever since we were given the interview date that the days seem to be moving slower and slower. I was wondering if I was the only one that felt that way. Glad to see someone else feels the same way........lol!!! Goodluck to everyone. Nov begins in 11 days!!!!!!!!

No Nancy, you're not alone. The days DO seem to be DRAGGING! Although, finally we can all see the light at the end of the tunnel, right?

At least now it's only a few weeks away and not those God awful months we were all dreading before. God bless us all!!

08-19-2009 : Received email packages from NVC / 08-20-2009 : Pay AOS fee $70 (Online)

08-20-2009 : DS-3032 sign/scan and emailed

08-21-2009 : AOS Payment Accepted/Paid on NVC

08-22-2009 : I-864(AOS) Sent to NVC

08-26-2009 : NVC AVRS confirm received AOS package

08-28-2009 : NVC received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (No confirm email)
