hello again,

our noa2 is expiring in mid november and i was worried that we wouldnt have our interview before that. after a bit of research, it seems that a lot of embassies automatically extend the noa2 another 4 months when this happens. i just want to make sure that london does this as there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to whether all or some of the embassies automatically extend your noa2.

another thing, will i need the noa2 to not be expired after we get married and apply for aos?

thanks again guys.

boy, looking for a job in this market wouldn't be so bad if i had my baby with me :crying:

Never assume anyone will do anything automatically. Ask the consulate directly in email or by phone and get confirmation of extensions in writing. No, it does not matter if your NOA2 is expired for the AOS. You will need a copy of it for the AOS so don't lose it.

You will not need to look for a job for some time after your arrival. K-1s are not eligible to work until they receive their green card or EAD and that is after you are married and file for the AOS.
