Hey all I am a USC my husband and I are waiting for our date for the interview. I want to start filing for his kids as soon as possible. Does any know what forms i need? do i need to wait until we are straight? They are older ages 16, 18, 20 is it going to be harder for us to get them here because of there ages? How much does it cost for each child? If anyone can help me with the answers that would be great! I just dont want to go though the lawyar again i heard its cheaper to do it on my own. THANKS

Better file the I-130 for the 20 year old "yesterday" as he may age out. #355 for the initial petition and "abou"t another $470 when it gets to NVC.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

You can only petition for her kids if they were under age 18 when you married their mom. For those that were under age 18 at the time of your marriage and unmarried and under age 21 when you file, you would need to file Form I-130 and they would likely receive visas within a year. The cost to petition is $355/petition. However, costs for the AOS and IV application, medical exam, etc. will likely add another $1000/child. Each child would need his or her own petition. See the Guides for help.

For any child that was 18 or older when you married their mom, she is the only one that can file for them. They must be unmarried the entire time it takes her to petition for them. The wait is 5-8 years for a visa. Cost is the same as above. Paperwork is also the same.
