Hello All,

Is this something I should worry about? I thought the NVC just preps the package for the embassy? They did just get it yesterday.

I just didn't like the way the agent said it's under further review..and said give it a couple more days.

Thanks :)

No NVC does it's own set of background checks, just as USCIS did and as will the Embassy will do. We were on AP for three weeks then all went fine. I wouldn't worry, hang in there. Have you sent your documents for the interview?

Thanks :) Just worries me because some of the other K1 timelines I've seen almost seems like the NVC just held it for 1 day and they mailed it to USEM the next day...one can only hope :)

I've sent my fiance a complete duplicate of the I-129 package I sent to USCIS.

I'm waiting for the case to leave NVC then I'll send the I-134 and supporting docs, I kinda want to get the pay stubs as close to interview date as possible, to avoid any issues. Am I forgetting something :) I probably am. :)

You can send documents to the embassy for the interview before they even receive the petition from NVC? Now I'm really confused. :) I thought you had to wait until the package from NVC arrived at the embassy before you could do anything other than the medical exam as far as the embassy is concerned?
