K1 visas take anywhere from 8-12 months in Canada.

Depends on if you send your petition to Vermont or California, how fast your get your NOA2 (Notice of Action 2) from them (usually 4-5 months there) and then how long it takes to send back Packet 3 (usually 3-4 weeks to get throught his step) and then how long it takes to get an interview scheduled in Montreal or Vancouver depending on where you are from (Montreal is about 3-4 months for an interview and I think Vancouver is about 1-2 months).

No matter if you get your noa2 approval in 1 month 3 months or more, the NVC's dragging their a$$'s on their part in sending off to the embassy's so you have to wait moooooore........sooo, get ready for lots of that! Its #######, but well, u know, its the game. We're here to rant...and well, i do alot of it! LOL..

lol the hard part is there is no answer because the service centers fluctuate. They could be at 34 days one month for getting out NOA2's and then up to 120 the next. It also hugely varies based on which consulate, vancouver seems to be able to get people in within a month or 2 where montreal is 3-4. Right now I'm just over 6 months since I started the process, will hopefully be done at 8-9 (still waiting on word of an interview). If you are filing with CSC its about 3-4 months for your NOA2 right now, VSC is taking about 4.5-6. Vancouver's wait is about a month for interviews, Montreal is at least 3. Thers also up to a month inbetween for NVC to get your package to the consulate and them to get P3 back to you.

So...combinations for an estimate (these are based on a smooth sale with no RFE, with the normal 2 weeks NVC time and you returning P3 right away)

CSC + VAN = approx. 6-7 months

CSC + MTL = approx. 8-9 months

VSC + VAN = approx 7-8 months

VSC + MTL = approx 9-10 months

Now if you get an RFE it can add up to another 2 weeks (or more) from the time you return your RFE, as doing so as quickly as possible is advised. For most of the people in my group who got RFE's it added about a month. There is also (this is not to scare you, they pick people at random) the possibility of AP (advanced processing) when they send the package to NVC which can add up to another 50 days to the process.

So it really varies on how long it can take but I'd say most people are done 6 months to a year with the process.
