I've been reading up on the evidence you have to take to the interview..

my partner and i.. we chat everyday on messenger..

i've always copied and pasted the conversations into microsoft word and saved.. rather than keeping chat logs.. im thinking this is a silly thing to have done now.. would they still count towards evidence or not?

I'm not sure about the interview but as for the I-129F Petition, the e-mails exchanged between us that we sent to USCIS were pasted on Microsoft Word and printed from there. We had no problem. Good luck!

You don't need emails for the I-129F initial petition. You only have to prove you met in person.
