All week I have been testing the sign in and it would work

this morning at last

It will take 1 or 2 days before the AVR says case complete and you will be emailed the interview date a couple days after that. I had no luck tracking my case to Paris and NVC says they sent mine July 15th and I have yet to hear anything from the embassy.

Do you expect embassy to contact you for anything?

per LingChe they have no reason to contact you as you are following CR1/IR1 path and interview

from your case I see nvc sent package on July 15

in fact on dhl I can track it arrived on July 20th

then I noticed you got the medical on July 21th

medical appointment are possible only if you have interview

could you please tell me

who told you the interview date

when?

who told you the medical exam date

or did you just call saying you had the interview scheduled already

hey i called NVC and they gave me the interview date after 24 hours of case close, but i had CR1 visa

i dont know much about K3 visa, but it will not hurt if u call on monday to NVC and ask them about ur case.

I researched some more and reread the appointment letter and I guess your right, there is no packet 3 or 4 for the Paris embassy. The only thing you have to bring to the interview is the unopened medical, 2 photos, any other papers requested that you didnt send to NVC, and the chronopost envelope. The only other thing i'm not sure about is how much is the visa fee is?-the one you have to pay at the embassy???

The CR/IR-1 visa fee was the $400 paid to NVC

I did the K3 way so paris embassy sent me the K3 package.

the package received was a package 3 amended at the level of the visa fee

In hand writing it did mention a fee of 99,56 euros

I can read that visa fee for packet 3 was as of 8/2008 355 dollars + 45 dollars in local currency

but I would guess it is not applicable to us, we have already paid NVC

also if they did not mention any visa fee, that means it is not applicable or you will be told later.

for documents,

you can make sure all documents required to be less than X months old are still young enough at the moment of the interview

I have asked a new marriage certificate and birt certificate and will bring it if interview is later than August in case....

I have heard you prepare a binder for bona fide also

they said they could not schedule me for August

will schedule me next week hopefully for September
