Well Dan is in Ohio at the moment on his way back to me on the big grey dog! I've been pacing since 3:00 when he got on the bus in London, Ontario. He was supposed to call me when he got to Detroit and cleared customs, but he was unable to. I've been sitting here biting my nails hoping that he wasn't on a bus back to Toronto and then about 15 minutes ago the phone rang. A collect call from Ohio showed up on the caller ID. YAY! He is in the United States and he will be home in Alabama once again at 8 in the morning. He is going to sit it out here until he has to go back for his medical and interview. This time apart ####### is for the birds! Thank goodness we are such good friends with the Canadians and he can stay for up to six months! I'm jumping for joy!!! Now on with this visa ####### so I can marry this man!

Good for you!!!

I just returned from Korea and it just about broke both our hearts not knowing how much longer until we can marry each other and when she can come to the US. A visitor visa for her is near impossible now that we began the K-1 process and is very difficult for a single woman in Korea to receive.

All she wants is for us to be together as soon as possible.

I am happy to see that you guys can have some sanity as your process plays out.

I wanted to reply becuase I totally understand what you went through today. We are pretty much on the same timeline, March 6th NOA1, transferred to CSC, IMBRA RFE, and everything. My fiance is from Canada as well and she will be coming down to Texas to visit me in a week. I always get nervous about the border crossing. So congrats on getting to see your fiance, I know how it feels to sit and wait for the damn paperwork and do the visit thing. Good luck to both of us :thumbs:

I just got back from a trip to see Brian in Columbus last week. And all the worries I had beforehand were pretty much for nothing.

I had the easiest time ever going through customs. The officer simply asked "Why are you going to Columbus?"... I said "to visit my fiance"... then she looked at her computer screen, stamped my form, and told me to have a nice trip! I couldn't believe it really... I've had more questions visiting Brian before we were engaged or even just visiting family.
