Approved visa delivery

Hello Everyone!!!

I wish someone would be able to make me feel better...

I am worried why I haven't recevied my visa yet? I had my interview at the US Embassy in Manila last July 16, 2009 and the CO said that my visa has been approved! So I waited outside for them to call my name and they gave me a pink slip then paid Air 21 for the delivery fee. One the K1 visa applicant I met there told me that she got her visa las Tuesday, July 21, 2009. I also tracked my visa at Air 21 website but it says "NOT FOUND". I tried calling the call center (one that has 1-909 numbers) and they told me that its still for review and haven't forwarded to Air 21 yet and that I need to wait for 6-8 weeks then call them back so they can make a follow-up report?

How come they haven't processed/ sent my visa yet when they say I got APPROVED??? to think that I am from Metro Manila and it will be easier to send it to me? I cannot find of any reason why they are holding up on my papers when they say that all the documents are OK??? I just want my visa... what shall I do?

Advice and informations will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Love conquers everything!!!

Hi. I suppose this is Jen. Congratulations! I am sorry you are lost in information regarding the whereabouts of your visa. All we can do is speculate what is being fussed on it at the embassy. As you informed, you are in the Manila area only, why not go to the embassy itself that's one. Call Air21, that's two. Have your fiance call and speak with an American Consul at the embassy, that's three, should you have no answers with the first two I suggested there. Don't speak with call center service representatives. As know, they're just humanized mechanism to utter canned/repeated/tailored responses to every inquiry.

Okay something similar happened to our fellow vjr Soinlove, he found out his then fiancee was in extra review cause she had some issues in the past with the lest say"Filipino FBI" she had some debt she didn't pay on time and that came out when she tried to get a visa. But they are together now, so don't worry, just tell your fiance to make all the necesary investigations to find out what is going on with your case.

Good luck!

just relax..mine took 12 days before i received it .I am living in Quezon City... Give it some time..You'll get yours too...

Thanks, I live in Quezon City too!!! I just got worried when I don't know where and what part of the process I am in now? I wasn't nervous during my interview and it went well, (except that they kept me waiting inside the cubicle of the consul for 15 minutes or more before he interviewed me for only 5-10 minutes), just now that I cannot track where is it?

Also, is it true that there is no office at the embassy during every thursday afternoon and fridays?

Love conquers everything!!!

ei just relax.. you'll get it soon... they really give 10 days to wait for our visa for more further investigations... i got approved june 18 same day with my interview, they told me it's 10 working days... i live in tagaytay, but surprisingly i got it june 24...once your visa has been approved... just wait and relax... if you want while waiting for your visa you can attend already the CFO seminar, just bring valid ids or birth certificate and the documents that you presented to the USEM during your interview...bring P250 for the seminar (St, MaRY'S AT katipunan) CFO sticker for 400 pesos...

start fixing your things... Congrats! God bless us...

All migrating filipinos are required to have the CFO sticker in their passport before they can depart from the Philippines. One of the requirement to register at CFO is to undergo their seminar/orientation... so the answer is yes.

The advices I am receiving from this site makes me feel better. Hope we get our visa very soon, I can accompany you to go to CFO for your seminar if you want, I am going to get my sticker once I have my visa... so let's keep on praying!
