My husband doesn't eat fish, I on the other hand love fish. Would it be bad of me if I try to be sneaky and feed him fish once in a while, something like put some fish in a cutlet or I have other ideas :innocent: .

So what do you all say-- Feed him fish

Don't feed him fish, let him be who he is.

Just a note-- he has no problem of me eating fish, he even takes me to the asian market just so I can buy fish. Just I want him to enjoy what I love so much, its not much fun eating fish all alone.

no way..next you will be making him eat vegetables...

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Don't force him to eat the fish just because you like it. if this is a big deal to you, perhaps you should find someone else who love to eat the fish, or love to eat everything the food you like. it's kinda shallow reason but people is different.

this thread is remind me of a mother who force her kid to eat the food he dislike.

I wasn't too keen on fish and very squeamish around seafood when I first met my husband. My mother was never a fan of fish (unless it was canned tuna or Captain Highliner fishsticks) so we never had fish growing up at home. I wouldn't eat a peel and eat shrimp unless someone peeled it for me.

I have come a long way- I make salmon, catfish and tuna fairly often, I made my own cerviche, I can pull the heads off and peel and de-vein raw shrimp (don't love doing it but I will), we eat tons of crabs and crawfish- I have even sucked the head.

I havent and dont intend to

IMO, powder a small quantity of dry-fish and put it--then tell him about it the next day.

I had an analogous approach to dealing with some relatives who visited me in 1998 (the husband and 2 sons of my Gainesville, FL religious-studies-prof cousin). They had complained about a certain restaurant using basmati rice to prepare its dinner-orders. My mum, also visiting, had heard these complaints; we decided to serve them a later dinner with basmati rice, and a version of bisibele-bhath using powa. The complaining trio didn't even notice, and relished these (we revealed it to them, only after they returned to Gainesville).

At least you are not spitting or peeing in his food.

And thank goodness for that :P
