I 130 Medical Question for my MOM

Hey guys,

I filed for my parents I 130. I didn’t receive any NOA 2 yet. But I am sure will be getting very soon.

My MOM recently diagnose with Hepatitis C Chronic. Will Hepatitis C will be a problem for her I 130 Visa approval???

I called USCIS, and they have no answer to my question. USCIS site doesnt provide any info related to Hepatitis C. This doesnot transfers from one to another, only thru blood or used injection needle.

Please help me with your experties.

To the best of my knowledge TB, HIV and Syphilis are the only conditions that will slow down or prevent her from being approved. That being said she will be asked if she has any chronic conditions or health problems and it would be wrong for her to say no. They will not be testing for it however.

If they ask question, My MOM has no prob to let them know. I just want to make sure Hap C is not a prob for GC visa. I didnt see any prob, so far.
