Okay... what?

Did I just read this correct, you can only do immigrant visa processing in Montreal? I thought Vancouver did them as well.

In which case... HOLY #######! What a drag to have to haul #### down here for that. I feel lucky as hell that I'm on Toronto then.

Oh and guys... are they ever going to generate my IV bill? I emailed them my Choice of Agent a whole 4 days ago.

Sheesh.....

:hehe:

Oh yeah, I'm a help! I'll try my very best though.

We did send off our AOS package today and i'm waiting for them to generate our IV bill but it's only been 4 damn days so... i should just chill. I still have stuff to do and I can hardly believe it.

They sure do need a lot of pictures of us, don't they? I mean the passport ones, those really flattering ones and all?

:D

Did you say you got your NVC number, ber?

It's freaking late but it's Friday...

Yessum, Montreal is the only consulate that deals with CR1/IR1 in Canada anymore. Vancouver no longer does immigrant visas.

But reading and reading and reading more about the process is driving me looney! :clock:

Good, you are making progress!

lol, I'm not sure if that's a good thing? :P

This process can drive you nuts. But, take comfort that VisaJourney is the "goto" place to post questions and look at other people's experiences in the journey. If not for VJ, I am not sure we would have been able to succeed without an attorney. my fiance passed her interview on July 16th and we are awaiting the visa now.

In retrospect. The many things I worried about turned out to be unfounded. Just go through the guide, step by step, gather the needed docs, and go for it. Good Luck on your journey, the end result is soooooo worth it.

Comments : She recived the first notice from Manila on Valentines day. Perfect timing.

The first setback came during the medical. Naty had to do the 3 day sputum and then we waited 2 months for the results. YESSSS>came back negative

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.
