For what it is worth, I was approved on June 30th and on Friday, the NVC still had not received it. I did manage to get a hold of the VSC and was told last thursday that it "had arrived in the mail room" on that day. On one call I was told 90 days by the NVC too, but on other calls told 2-4 weeks. After having waited 4+ months to get an approval to have them not bother to mail it promptly is very frustrating...

hello!

just relax...the 90 days they're saying is the approximate time frame (its scripted  ). as per our case, we got our NOA2 May 18 and the NVC received it May 28 and my frankie received the hard copy June 10.. just be patient, when u have the NVC case # u will have to wait again till the embassy receives your case #... its a long journey, but hey, relax, at least we're almost there!

goodluck and again, be patient and relax! :star:

it is really sticky situation some people get the case # in a week and some get it in months

only thing u can do in the mean time get all the things together to file after u have a case number so u dont waste any more time

good luck

keep calling the nvc and patience

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Our NOA2 was approved June 30th as well. I am with the VSC and I called the NVC. The lady I had was very nice and helpful. She advised me to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my case to arrive from VSC and then call back. I think we all have a case of the jitters because of the wait time from the first NOA to the second NOA. Let's have faith everyone.. Things work out better when we have patience, trust me I know because I usually don't have any!!! Good luck to all my fellow VJ'ers!!!

Well, I have been calling every 3 days and we were assigned a case number. They are reviewing our files they said, but they also advised me to keep calling. We've also been gathering up all the documents we will be needing in the meantime and just planning our wedding. This has been helping us to deal with all the madness of the NVC/Embassy...Its my understanding that after NVC things go pretty quickly.....If you think about it the longest time period is over, which was the NOA1 to the NOA2. I heard it takes about a month at NVC, Its been 25 days for us thus far....

5 weeks for me ... after waiting 7+ months for NOA-2 it is a slap in the face to watch so many others get to NVC in less than a week and for us to have to continue waiting more than a month without any recourse until 3 more months have pasted.
