Actually Poor kids in the US don't get the same education as mid-income American kids, if it went by dollars spent, the Poor Kids come out way ahead.

Per student spending is much higher for the poor. Washington DC is the highest.

Man, I HOPE the average American student doesn't have to deal with 30+ student classes, holes in the ceiling, hateful teachers, no AP classes, no labs for science classes....

On topic - it doesn't really matter what they do for the schools. Until family units provide some sort of stability for the students, a sense of community and moral standards, schools are irrelavent.

That you even question something this basic cautions me not to waste time posting "proof".

Honestly,

The years in college, I've witness even those that came from a decent family. The students still a very weak. I couldn't afford health insurance, had to depend on school scholarship money for that. These kids had everything. When I needed to get a root canal, or my wisdom teeth pulled out I was extremely mad. I was scoring ahead of these kids in the exams. They always cheat on their homework assignments, etc...They had everything when they want, whenever. Heck, they would cheat off my homework. I let them cheat so I can get favors from them.

I don't have squat except for some money to wash my clothes, and refund checks from the state grants, and excess scholarship money. I was jealous, and furious, and depressed.

All is well at the end. I didn't blow up the school, I didn't commit suicide. I almost made valedictorian in the College of Engineering. Most kids are in the 2.7 GPA median. I was way above that.

Respectfully, I don't quite see if there's a money issue that influence someone education. I think its based on how the kids were brought up. Just saying. Well, enough of that...I will get some sleep.
