my friend divorsed her husband who lives in nigeria without him knowing. all she has to do is go to the lawyer and the lawyer runs an ad in the legal newspaper asking if there is anyone who knows the wereabouts of her spouse is for 6 weeks. if no one answers then the court date is scheduled and the divorse is granted. its as easy as that.

and i cant for example call the court or any association there to at least know if she is in the process of the divorce???

Again, the process probably varies according to the state. Each state has it's own laws and procedures regarding marriage and divorce. In most cases, I would think you could contact the clerk of courts in the county where she's living to see if she's filed for a divorce. If you know the city and state she lives in, and are willing to post it here, we can probably figure out which court you can contact.
