do you think it's ok for airlines to allow pets to sit in same seats as humans?

Good. If I ever see you carrying your pet in your handbag, I would have to kill you --- and that would just not be nice. i like you and all :P

Seriously, my cats can't take a 40 minute drive to the parents to be cat-sat while I jet off to see the fiance without getting majorly upset. Now if I start packing for a weekend up there they go hide under the bed, so no chances of my getting them to go along nicely every where I go :D.

Well, I'm a little confused about this statement. I understand that there is a line somewhere which you feel has been crossed. Are you a pet owner? Is there any standard of care too low for animals? I mean, I'm no PeTA person, but some humans live in conditions that I wouldn't want my pets to live in either.

What I mean is: animals ARE animals; not human beings.I am a pet owner, but I will be damned if I ever considered my pets in a higher place than human beings - not even remotely. And animals do not belong in the seat next to me on an airplane sister Heather --- hell no.

yea I know of some people that talk of pets like if they were a human member of the family, or buy them medicines because they are 'depressed'.. #######.. if they can't afford to get valium for themselves, why would they get dog or cat valium... insane

There is a pet massage place next to my barber... I laugh every time I walk past it to get a haircut... I can only wonder who is gonna pay to get the dog a massage in this economy.. or in any economy for that matter... They also do therapy for stressed out dogs...

i hold pets higher than people. hell, they act better than most people too.
