I have tried WAWA a few times and yep, it was good coffee. None really close to us,have to go up to the Potomac Shopping centre area. I'm trying to cut back on my coffee.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I'm not whiney .... and i am not sappy ... which is why it may sound like whiney to you .. i don't ga ga goo and go ooh it's from canada i must froth at the mouth .. hahaha .. One thing that bothered me BIG TIME when i lived in canada was all the people from somewhere else saying things like .. at home we did things like this and that and this was better and that was great and we had better this and that .. kinda made me think to myself grrr go back home then if you don't like it here .. so always told myself that i would never act like that when i moved here. But i myself do not see the whole big tim horton love .. it's not whiney it's just .. well darn it it's just coffee hahaha

But i'll end it here ... cause well ... ya know fall in line with the cliques and all ...

Oh Tim Hortons how i miss you *gush*

Uh...

1. You are in a Canadian forum...don't you think the topics are going to be about Canada? We are meant to talk about things from back home. GO to the British forum and see what they talk about...I bet you they talk about chips and their favourite lagers they can't get in the USA.

2. Tim Horton's sells GREAT food. Is there a problem with that? Most of us genuinely like what they sell. Not to mention, when you need something quick that isn't terrible for you, they will provide it. I'ts not about necessarily being a Canadian icon, it's something we ALL have in common though. Ever go to your local tim horton's with your friends and have great chit-chats? Probably not. There is a lot of memories for us in Tim Horton's.

3. Flames and Rob reign supreme.

When did i ever cut ANYONE down in this thread ? .... Like i said i am done .. go have a group hug it will be all better ..

Now you are just being a #######. No need for that.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Wawa is the reason I decided to move to NJ!

Wawa is GOD reincarnated.

And if I moved back to Canada and found out a Wawa was opening there, I'd do the same little dance I am doing now about timmies!

 He does!? Too funny! You know, as much as I miss certain things in Canada, if I moved back I'd miss things here such as: WaWa, Trader Joe's, Wegmans, and lots of different restaurants I've grown to love!

Southern Ontario .. all around the Golden Horseshoe .. From Toronto to Niagara Falls and almost everywhere in between

Oh. I can honestly say I've never experienced that there. I do notice that I tend to say it here a lot, though. But that's just the homesickness and the frustration talking. I honestly do love where we live.

Wawa is the reason I decided to move to NJ!

Wawa is GOD reincarnated.

I keep thinking Wawa Ontario whenever you mention it. I've never even heard of wawa coffee. Is it grown on the majestic volcanic mountainsides of Wawa?

Sorry things are taking a downward spiral here, Ryck. I honestly didn't take it that you are cutting anyone down. Just that you were having an opinion. I guess the Hortons is sacred here. Don't take it too hard.

Mmm cranberries! Have you ever had some of the yummy cranberry juice from Wawa??

Midland was pretty close to Wawa so I used to think the same thing and still make the connection when I see it.
