Well....this is my case. I visited my SO for 3 weeks exactly 3 months ago. I'm a civil engineer and work as project manager in construction projects. My next project will begin sometime between August and September. If by some good chance we get an interview close to October then I can't go to the interview. I already have some negative answers because I already used my vacation time for this year. If I take time on my own I could be substituted very easily so bye bye to my job.

To make matters worse at the beginning of each project is where 90% of the problems arise. And believe me.....some contractors have really big claws. I work for the government and I have to take care of multimillion dollars budgets so I have to be very careful with how I solve those problems.

Needless to say there is a big chance I will not make it to her interview. So taking that into account I'm gathering all the evidence I can get my hands on and preparing them in a orderly manner. If I have the chance to go I will do it. But I can't rely on that possibility so I'm preparing everything for her interview just in case.

PEACE my friends..............

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart; so much that you are willing to give your life for your loved one, time and distance takes a backseat. Only love prevails. And with love in you hearts you can overcome anything.

If you can be there, especially if you are allowed in for the interview, that will be a nice plus as brother TBone has stated.

Giving them nothing but mushy love letters isn't the best thing. People don't speak that way all the time. Better to show some typical "how was your day?", etc. Chat transcripts are also good for this. Give an array of email and chat from the beginning of your relationship until present.

The phone logs are the important thing. Used cards do not prove anything.

I am curious.....how many of you have been present to the interview??

The USC is not allowed to the interview in Moscow.

Please clarify this statement about the USC in Moscow. Thanks

If you check the Russia embassy info on top of the page you'll see that the spouse / fiance(e) can not attend the interview. Don't say anything about being able to be on the premises at least though.

PEACE..........
