I was in the bad mood that day, then my husband took me to the store, ayun nawala init ng ulo ko kc nakita ko yung mga gusto ko..Lol

Some things that remind me of Pinas, Off topic ito

There are many things that will remind me of Pinas:

When I go the grocery here to buy fish..I miss the fish back home how fresh and widely available.

When I go the spa for my manicure and pedicure here..it reminds me of Pinas how good the manicurista there they do the job well done, so clean they remove the ingrown and the surface of the nails are smooth.

when I visit my doctor here..it remind of Pinas because in Pinas you don't have to wait for weeks or month schedule before you can see your doctor.

I will add more later

"True Love is never associated with violence, deception, abuse ( emotional, physical or verbal) constant sacrifice for the good of only one person, jealousy, fear or mistrust"

The first time that I had Lucky Me Pancit Canton when I got here brought me memories of my little sisters eating it everytime it's raining.

The smell of Lucky Me Bulalo and La Paz Batchoy reminds me of my mom and my co-workers at the hospital eating it during night shifts.

Nakakamiss talaga lahat sa Pinas. Mula sa pamilya, pagkain at iba pa.

Nothing in my trailer park(joking) "hood" reminds of the good time in RP :crying:

I surely miss those overcrowded Jeepeny, those trimotocycles, the air full of Smog.....

the lay back attitude, the street vendors, the noise, the people who looked at me funny....

the crazy traffic that put life in danger anytime attempt to cross the street

but i do miss that white beautiful clean sand, deep blue ocean, those lazy afternoons watching the Tide retreat 200 to 300 meter from beach until the next morning, the boats, the food, the music, the peoples......

And most of all...."the person that I miss the most... still there" :help::crying:

thanks for the memories...

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

My good friend from North Texas could have answered like this:

"My wife gets Homesick when she hears people speaking in Visayan. She is from Davao.

She does not eat Skyflakes because of too much saturated fat. She is a RN you know, and she knows about health.

Whe we go to the grocery and she sees Spinach, she is reminded of alogbati in Davao.

There are lots of smelly people here in Dallas also Especially the illegal Mexicans.

These illegal are just like some of the people in the Philippines. They like to eat at Pekpek carenderias.

Oh, I got to go! There is a Bass tournament today at Lake Fork. Maybe I'll win it again and go home with $20,000."
