hello there!

I intend on keeping my name when i get married. Is there something to fill or anything??? i'm really ignorant about the all process.... and if i decide to change my name, should i file AOS with my new name??

thanks!

You should file your AOS/EAD etc under which ever name you want to go by (married or maiden) - it would be a good idea to decide one way or the other before sending in the AOS since changing it later (while not impossible) could cost you time and money.

thanks for your quick answer!

if i decide to change it, what should i do then?

Meaning if you decide to change it after you've already received your PR/Green Card; you would submit a Form I-90 .

No. It is your choice. When you file the AOS, use the name you want on the green card. My wife did not change her name either and it is so much easier, actually.

no, meaning when i get married...i don't know, is it something to do? someone s gonna ask me what name i want to take?

No one will ask. Just get everything in the name you want...AOS, Social security number, drivers license. It will be easy, just use your passport for ID.
