I will like to know how do they conduct interview for under 21 step children. What questions do they ask and how can one prepare for this interview.

We have two children. One was 13 at the interview. He sat there with his hands in lap and never said a word, no questions asked. My wife, son and I were all to gether in the room. Actually there were no questions asked of any of us.

Our other son is 18 and will be arriving on a K-2 (to follow) in 2 weeks. We have been told since his mother has already receive the grren card he will not have an interview. I am not sure what they couldd ask a K-2 or K-4, in regard to proff of relationship, etc. Their visas and adjustment are derivitve of the parent's.

The guardian of the minors will be the one who will be asked not of course the minor.

My step kids interviewd at the emabassy on their own petitions. They were not asked a single thing they were 16 and 11. The dad was the one who was questioned as far as the step parent relationship etc. Are you interviewing at an embassy or here in the US for AOS?

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

This question is of interest to me too...my step son's interview should be in August...i attended my wife's interview last November which was very easy, and plan on being there for his upcoming interview...i don't expect there to be any real need for preping for the interview...just some photos and knowing alittle about each other should be fine...good luck

Well, on that matter, we just had the K-2 (to follow) interview for our son last week...no questions asked at the consulate.
